How do I draw a 2 point ellipse using PipeFitPro?

PipeFitPro includes a 2 point ellipse command for drawing half ellipses. This handy piping tools saves the repetitive task of trimming a half ellipse to represent a nozzle connection.

The half ellipse is drawn in order of points selected to dictate rotation. Here we have selected the bottom edge of a pipe.

Next is the top edge.

PipeFitPro then prompts for a distance to be picked.

Here is the finished result.

Below we used the AutoCAD trim command to finish the detail.

With the line trimmed, the tank nozzle detail is complete.

NOTE

The command automatically matches the properties of the new half ellipse to the existing line it is placed on.
