Start PDFIT from the PipeFitPro pull down menu or type PDFIT in AutoCAD.

PDFIT uses the AutoCAD printer ‘DWG To PDF.pc3′ (Versions 2009-2012) to create PDF files. The PDF file name and location can be pre-set, along with orientation, paper size, pen settings and units.

PDFIT is hard wired to use the extents of a drawing and scales it to fit to the paper size selected.

NOTE

Settings for PDF files can be changed by using the AutoCAD plot command:

- print quality (DPI)
- PDF layer information
- automatic opening of PDF files
- fonts

To change settings, open the AutoCAD plot command, select the ‘DWG To PDF.pc3′ printer, then using the ‘Properties…’  button and the ‘Custom Properties Button’ in ->Device and Document Settings->Custom Properties area.
