2D & 3D Capable

2D or 3D? – it’s your choice because with PipeFitPro’s ANSI pre-set sizes, you can easily draw pipes in full size, and associated butt weld fittings such as tees, elbows, reducers, and flanges, in both two and three dimensions. PipeFitPro offers reliable commands in all environments, that work intuitively and make light work of repetitive tasks, while ensuring typing errors are reduced. Use 2D drawings to produce 3D models

Take advantage of AutoCAD’s powerful 3D abilities and confidently attack complex designs using your AutoCAD experience, and PipeFitPro’s extensive piping tools and utilities – without the need for 3D specific software. Whether you incorporate geometry from existing 2D drawings or you model in 3D first, you’ll save time and avoid potential data loss associated with importing/exporting designs to 3D specific programs. Use PipeFitPro 5 for all piping layouts, detailing and 3D modeling.

Export, review and visualize

Drawings made with PipeFitPro 5 are directly compatible with normal export functions, older versions of AutoCAD, PDF creation software, and other Autodesk® & Navisworks® family of products for visualization, design review, and clash detection. PipeFitPro 5 uses standard AutoCAD objects for all 2D & 3D piping commands.

2D ANSI & Custom Pipes. Various pipe drawing routines include: open pipe, closed polyline pipe, pipe sections, pipe down, half pipe, pipe ‘s’ cut, 2 point pipe cut, pipe offset, array pipe centre line, automatic pipe centre line functions & convert lines, arcs and polylines to pipes. Save any number of custom pipe sizes in the ‘custom size’ list.
2D ANSI & Custom Fittings. Enjoy the ease of inserting ANSI size 90° & 45° elbows, equal and reducing tees, concentric and eccentric reducers and pipe caps. Custom Blocks. Drawing blocks of pipe fittings can be incorporated into PipeFitPro for each pipe size and is a great way to access existing equipment blocks. Custom Blocks can also be used for saving blocks to your local hard disk or network.
3D ANSI & Custom Pipes. Effortlessly draw 3D pipes from point to point or convert arcs, polylines & lines to pipes. All pipes are drawn as 3D solids without wall thickness to minimize file size and for clearer and easier modeling experience.
3D ANSI & Custom Fittings. All the 2D ANSI fittings are included in 3D form: 90° & 45° elbows, equal and reducing tees, concentric and eccentric reducers and pipe caps. A special ‘elbow’ fillet is provided for pipe layout work. Access 2D geometry pre-sets to draw custom size fittings instantly in 3D!
