Utilities

The PipeFitPro Utilities are a collection of tools made to help you get the job done. Included are basic shortcuts, enhanced AutoCAD commands and some specially developed tools built for experienced design professionals who want to extend their CAD system’s abilities. Our collection of add-on tools provide tangible return on investment through significant productivity gains for nearly anyone using AutoCAD – not just piping experts.

Fast-load & Load-on-demand.

Just like the entire PipeFitPro piping suite, the PipeFitPro Utilities incorporate the FAS (Fast-load) file system to effortlessly load various utilities. To maximise drawing open speed, the larger utilites are designed to load-on-demand, however even with this feature, all the utilities load quickly and provide a seamless step to some powerful tools.

Construction Lines

One of the first utilities developed for PipeFitPro, the 2D construction lines helps designers draw construction lines with one click, to a pre-set layer and color. All construction lines are made using normal lines which can be filleted and dimensioned in World UCS.

Segmented Bends

Draw two dimensional 90 degree segmented bends to preset radius and specific segments automatically. Draw segmented bends in top, front and side views.

Layer Tools

Create new layers effortlessly and modifying object properties with various options. Also available are shortcuts for setting current drawing layer properties by object selection and automatic block creation using layer names.

3D Modeling

The 3D Toolbar brings together useful 3D commands, with various shortcuts and options which will simplify the modelling process. The toolbar includes: one click 3D orbit and 2D wireframe views, UCS rotate, enhanced extrude, various slice and section options, a copy subtract command, and set z axis geometry to zero program.

AutoList/BOM

A parts list/BOM drawing program for AutoCAD. Effortlessly draw Item tags and parts lists with AutoList. Included are various tools to help designers present detailed drawings with a reliable and efficient system. 

Editing

Power though editing in AutoCAD. We’ve tweaked some of AutoCAD’s most frequently used modify commands to help you mirror, color, rotate, move, fillet, modify, & scale objects quicker than ever! 

Copy & Paste

Effortlessly move details from one drawing to another without the need for always checking UCS and object snap settings. We’ve tweaked the copy and paste command help you confidently overlay designs, and also included is a ‘copy and paste as a block’ command that automates the block making process.  

Draw Toolbar

Provides handy drawing tools for breaks, rectangles and bolt holes with preset sizes and centre lines. 

Hatch Toolbar

The Hatch toolbar is built to eliminate the need for tedious hatch selection, scaling and formatting. The toolbar will match hatches, hatch to dimscale and hatch using a pre-set layer and color, and hatch using various popular hatch types.

Blocks

Use MyPartz and PipeNET (version 3.0 & 2.0) to file and insert drawing blocks and details. Both programs allow the sharing of component libraries on network drives, and make it easy for back-up and distribution.

Printing

One click printing is here! Easily configure printers for super quick printing using the PerfectPlot and PDF IT programs. 

Annotation

The QuickText program effortlessly creates new text to dimscale, and specify properties in one easy to use dialog box. Formatted command line text is included, while various text editing shortcuts can do various formatting tasks with ease.

Viewports

The PipeFitPro ‘Views’ toolbar allows viewport creation while in Model Space - a real time saver for the busy detailer using paper space.
